QEST Magazine Design Challenge
With the latest edition of The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust’s (QEST) magazine around the corner we (Farrows) were stumped on just how we could top the last edition. The Spring QEST magazine led with a theatrical and striking front cover causing quite an impact.
However, for the new edition we were blessed with even more striking photography, leading us to have not one, but two front covers – hurrah!
By splitting the new scholar and apprentice section from the main magazine, we included a new up-side-down back cover meaning the magazine could be read from both ways.
The commercial success of the QEST scholars coupled with Royal Honours and award winning crafts meant the Summer edition highlighted what has been a very busy six months for QEST and the scholars.
Working with QEST on the full design and layout, we oversaw the project from the very beginning through to the final published print run. Which, we must say, looks great and we can’t wait to see what will be in the next magazine!
