Farrows were involved in the organisation of an environmental conference for Royal Warrant Holders and Members of the Royal Household.
 
89 people attended an information packed day concerning creating an environmental policy for your Company.  The feedback to this conference has been positively fantastic with many companies wanting to get involved straight away.

We are proud to announce that Farrows has been shortlisted for the 'Community Impact Award' in this years EDP Business Awards.  We are shortlisted along with two other companies, Chapelfield and Mills and Reeve.  Having been shortlisted for one of the category awards, it also means that we are shortlisted for 'Business of the Year,' this is the winner of winners award, so is dependent on you winning your category.

"Norwich graphic design firm Farrows impressed the judges with its innovative use of 'down time'. When members of the firm's 18-strong team are not working on projects for clients, their time is made available to charities and community groups. Annually, the firm is able to donate £70,000-worth of work designing logos, publicity materials and goods for sale. The firm also hit on the idea of taking its clients' surplus promotional materials, ranging from plastic cups to mountain bikes, and making them available for charities to auction. Thirty pallet-loads of goods have been stored by the firm and passed on to charities. Director Nick Farrow is also giving business advice to charities, notably helping the Hamlet Centre Trust for disabled children to access £50,000 of extra funding."

The results will be announced at the Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony on the 9th October... Fingers crossed

Will, was asked to photograph the Nimmo Twins for their 2010 calendar in conjunction with Nelson's Journey. During the shoot they changed into their various characters and struck up some hilarious poses. The hardest part was holding back howls of laughter. Try and see them live if you can!

There is now an IoD Norfolk blog that is updated by the Norfolk branch itself.  On the blog you can find photos and a write up of past events, details of upcoming events and other relevant and interesting information.

Farrows put together the blog for the IoD.

We designed the original eight Sandringham Royal Fruit Farms Apple Juice labels about four years ago.  At that time, the farm manager told us of his intention to produce an organic range.

This organic range required a brand new orchard away from any non-organic crops.  Consequently it has taken this amount of time to grow the orchard from scratch and reap a harvest of apples.

The organic apple juices have now been launched with their new livery designed by Farrows.  They are sold at Sandringham and high class retailers across the country.

Continuing our good start to 2008, we have further good news...

Farrows have won a contract to re-brand the University of East Anglia Conference Services. This was won through a competitive pitch against various other agencies.

We are looking forward to working with the UEA team to produce fantastic results and an upturn in business.

We have recently carried out a Brainstorm session for Wagamama takeaway packaging.

Taking part in the session along with our team, were two students from Norwich School of Art & Design, who were winners in the industry day we ran at the college with Britvic.

Obviously to get in the mood, vast quantities of takeaway was consumed....
